Chase Remy

Chase Remy was born in Houston and grew up in Sugar Land, Texas. After graduating from Fort Bend Austin High School, Chase spent two years at Texas A&M University-Galveston before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 2015. He officially began his USMC career in February 2016 at Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA. Private First Class (PFC) Remy graduated from recruit training in May 2016 and reported to the School of Infantry, Camp Pendleton, California, for Marine Combat Training. He was then assigned to Pensacola, Florida, in June 2016 for Aircrew Candidate School, where he earned the MOS 8972. Following, PFC Remy attended SERE School (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) in San Diego, California. After graduating, PFC Remy attended Aviation Tech School at Camp Pendleton, California, where he was promoted to Lance Corporal (LCpl) and earned the MOS 6114. Once earning the MOS 6114, LCpl Remy was sent to HMLAT-303 for Crew Chief Flight School in January 2017. Upon graduation from flight school, LCpl Remy earned the MOS 6174, and after graduation, he reported for duty to HMLAT-303 at Camp Pendleton in June 2017. LCpl Remy was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in February of 2017 and was meritoriously promoted to Corporal in March 2018. In October 2018, Corporal Remy executed a PCS  to HMX-1 Executive Flight Detachment Quantico, Virginia. During his tour, he was assigned to the VH-60N helicopter and was promoted to Sergeant in September of 2019. In 2021, Sergeant Remy was selected as one of four Marine One Crew members flying the President of the United States. Sergeant Remy was promoted to Staff Sergeant in March of 2023. He has completed 2143 mishap-free flight hours. Staff Sergeant Remy was a plane captain, collateral duty inspector, and collateral duty quality assurance representative, in addition to serving as a NATOPS Evaluator. Staff Sergeant Remy’s awards include the Presidential Service Badge, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (3), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism, Armed Forces Service Medal. Staff Sergeant Remy is married to Shelby Remy and has three children, Wyatt, Harper, and Madelyn. Chase’s passions are his family, aviation, trucks (especially Ford F-150s), and hunting and fishing.
